Congratulations on fulfilling your dream of owning a Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500 Twilight! Your journey from teenage dreams to the reality of owning this classic bike is truly inspiring. It's evident that your passion for Royal Enfield has been a lifelong one, and your dedication to getting the bike you desired is commendable.

Your story of patiently waiting for your Thunderbird, despite the delays and false assurances, shows your determination to make your dream come true. It's unfortunate that you had to face some challenges during the process, but your persistence paid off in the end.

It's great to hear that you took the time to do a thorough PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) and ensure that your bike met your expectations before finalizing the registration. Your attention to detail reflects your commitment to enjoying your Thunderbird to the fullest.

Wishing you many memorable rides and adventures with your Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500 Twilight. It's a testament to the power of dreams and determination. Ride on! ️

Thanks.

The new twin-tube chassis enables maneuvering in city ride a very easy and simple job as compared to my erstwhile Thunderbird 500. The new chassis, the new BS6 engine and the new platform achieves NVH to the minimum levels. The Bybre brakes with dual channel ABS are awesome. The touring seats are comfortable for long rides although I rode 430 km in one day after 4 years and 9 months. On the whole, I am enjoying the new Classic 350.
After long time reading posts from these forums and amaze to see latest RE with very low vibrations and smooth ride. I am very much connected to my 10 years old RE Bullet Electra. So don't want to change it, but asking a very dumb question, can some of these improvements from latest RE Bullet can be used in old Bullets with or without modifications?

While keeping your old Electra for occasional rides and memory, you can buy a new Classic 350 for regular rides instead of modifying the old one,

The new J-series motor is a counterblanced engine-hence much lower vibrations- leading to much better overall package. You cannot retrofit anything from a J-series motor to an UCE motor-that of your Electra.
