Mediocre me
What kind of a nut buys a '7 year old', '1 Lac KM', 'Automatic', 'Expensive maintenance' Car?
You guessed it right. My kind.

So, the forum members who have gone through My ownership reviews of SX4, Estilo, Nano AMT, Zest AMT, would by now know that I do "Not common" things. Would buy UnPopular cars.
I never feel the itch to own a common car (Swift, Baleno, i10, Duster etc).
Like many enthusiasts, I define cars differently. My criteria is different than what a general salesman in car showroom talks about. E:g; I would anyday like an Isuze VCROSS over a Fortuner or Scorpio.
ACCORD happened: (thanks to my friend)
Well, buying another car was not at all in the list. in 2017, I had bought ZEST D AMT (Review is on BCMT).
And I was very happy with SX4 cng.
Then around 26th Jan, I saw Accord and few more cars in my office, with notice "Company owned cars for Auction". I looked at her, and was in love. Car was locked, Could not see interiors either. But I was sold on her, Felt the itch to buy the car, either myself or for a family member etc.
I could not let this deal go.
So, I called my friend whom the accord would suit. And we agreed to place a bid. I did.
1 week later, I got the lucky call
. I could not believe I got lucky.
Checked the car for 5 minutes, deposited the cheque and paperwork, and a week later I got the keys and car.
This is when I realized that this was very well maintained car.
The thing now is, I am keeping the Accord. SX4 is on OLX and will make parking space for Accord.
Being Petrol thirsty, Accord will only do occasional highway run. Everything else, Zest will do.
Pics?
The 2.4 Litre V4 iVtech engine is butter smooth. Unbelievably smooth at 5000 to 7000 RPM range where most engines fail to impress.

The Car is WIDE and LONG too. Overtaking on narrow roads is careful exercise. If you honk, people leave space enough for a normal car. This being wide, cannot fit and you end up honking more until the biker in front looks in his mirror and moves few inches more to left.

Yes. Cruise Control works flawlessly.
Upto 75kmph, generally she remains in 4th gear.
In 5th gear, she does 102Kmph at 2000RPM. That for a naturally aspirated engine is wonderful. (SX4 did the same above 3000 RPM).
When in sports mode and if you are pushing hard, she would happily do 150-160 or above in 3rd gear itself with Tachometer hovering around 5000 RPM.
AT is not as much engaging as MT would have been but shift quality is butter smooth, Upshift and downshift both.
In NH58 dense traffic she keeps upshifting and downshifting . This can get annoying if you have a habit of looking at tachometer.
Sports mode is, well, sporty. It is not wild though. For a 180ps (177 HP) car, this does not feel a wild car. More of this because this is an AT. The Torque converter masks those sudden pushes.
Did I mention that she is "Paddle Sifters" too
. They make sense in Sports mode only.
One remote key battery had dies. I took the courage to open such a delicate component and replace the battery. If you are not careful, you can break the key casing. All went fine.
The boss being chauffeured...
