Need suggestions for 3 day trip to Uttarakhand

Hi Yogesh,

I was planning for a trip tomorrow towards Nainital.

Forest fire situation still there?? Seen that last year during trip around May end. I thought Rain would be settling in by now resolving that.

Anything about roads? Bajpur side or Haldwani? Been through both the routes in past btw. Wanted to know current situation

Monsoon has hit the hills, so no worries about forest fires now. As for roads, their condition will change rapidly now due to rain. I guess the Bajpur is better as of now.

Yup! It was a better choice. No issues with the roads on that side as of now. Everything was perfect. On Monday when I was returning then due to heavy rains last night, there was some debris on road but was manageable and was affecting only initial few kms which I was able to manage as left early at 5AM from Nainital .
