Need to know best photo editor software !

Hi !
can anyone help me suggesting a photo editor software (offline/online) to do little editing just to improve image quality etc.
I have heard about Photoshop, picasa/picnic and photoscape etc but I need to have BEST one hence an early suggestion will definitely help me.

OMG ! so heavy file, actually once I tried to download but seeing weight I thought I landed perhaps wrong site hence cancelled. I will surely want to know your experience. Thanks

I agree that Photoshop is best, but it is costly and you will also need to learn it. The processing is not that straight forward using photoshop. Also, you will not like to spend 45k just to improve the images unless you are a professional photographer.

I will say try photoscape or similar free photo editing softwares, I am using photoscape. You can do most of the required photo editing using this e.g. rotating, contrast/colour/brightness enhancement, sharpening etc using these tools. You will miss photoshop only when you will need to do selective editing etc.. else for normal editing photoscape will work well. You can also use it for batch editing of your photos. And above all it is very simple to use, just install and start editing.
