Hello everyone.

I have a 2008 TVS Flame bike which is in bad bad condition. It was my first bike and yes it was decision in haste. Bike had many problem. When I bought it TVS was already in dispute with Bajaj over Engine design. Bike has served me well but I haven't ridden the bike much. Its less than 20000 KM. Last year I got shifted to out of town and since than no one was available to take care of the bike at home. So now its all jammed. Accelerator, Engine, Kick nothing working. So I'm thinking about scrapping or selling the bike. I want to know both the procedure as I have never dealt with it. Need your guidance.

In case a buyer comes to buy this bike what I've to do? I have downloaded sale deed from a website. I have attached it over here. Is it okay? I am kind of reluctant since buyer has to do lot of maintenance on the bike but couple of them said they'll take care of it. So is it wise to sell? I have already told them the bike condition clearly.

In case if I want to scrap it what's the procedure? Do I have to first go to RTO for de-registration or first I have to scrap the bike and than go to RTO? what documents required? What I've to take from the scrap dealer?

I have all the bike papers required.

Better sell it on OLX or any other buyer.
Make sure that you will handover bike with transfer papers only. Ask or visit website of local RTO about procedures.
Others may have better mechanics / knowledge to handle a bike.

Thank you for replying. Couple of buyers did came with Form 29 and Transfer Note. One buyer said he'll try to repair it if he couldn't than he'll scrap it. I am still kind of reluctant thinking if something goes wrong in future.
