Well in my humble opinion, this is a good attempt but the following areas are to be addressed.

a. The top portion of first line of trees have been chopped off which ideally should have been avoided by using a wider focal length.
b. The sky lacks drama of clouds. In case where the sky was just plain, the image could have been underexposed slightly by say one stop, to get uniform rich tone in the sky.
c. An element of pointed interest such as say either a water body, or a hill, or sun, or birds etc would have added substance.
d. In my opinion, the same image if taken during the golden hour, or in sepia tone or in B/W or blue monochrome would have been much more impactful.
Thanks a LOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT.

Well, I searched the image over and over, again and again, looking for any glaring flaws, but could not find any.

The framing is tight and composition is good. Focus is spot on and the background is unobtrusively soft.

Good work, there.

Is there anyway to further improve this image?
May be.

In my opinion, the image was taken in broad daylight due to which details in some areas have been burnt / washed out. Perhaps applying -ve exposure compensation of say 2/3 could have helped. This way the contrast and depth can be improved. Shooting in RAW can also help in recovering few of the lost details.

Off topic: Can you share the details of lens used for this picture and for that of the Kingfisher in your earlier post. Going by the color pattern it appears a Sigma lens. Probably, the 70-300mm APO DG macro.
