Nikon D3500 compatible shutter release cable

Hi...Is there any shutter release cable that is compatible with the D3500... did not realize that it does not support wifi connectivity ...some sites showd it as compatible with wifi.... pls help and suggest an alternative

I don't know if you have already got it. There are several shutter release cable available. Some of them are wire less and good for self/group portrait. You also get advance remote for timelapse photography. Here is one in the link which is very expensive, however you can get for 1/4 the price from online.

Just be careful that you buy one with the flat pin and not the round one which is for high end Nikon cameras. I guess the flat pin cable is called DN2 or N1 connector.

I just remembered about Nikon Snapbridge. I hope the Nikon D3500 has bluetooth, then download the Snapbridge app on your phone that can do much more than just a remote control.

Thank you so much for your help... the cable listed does not suppott D3500.... will try the app you mentioned. Hopefully it will work

Thank you for your help... Spoke with Vyshak, the cable os currently out of stock.... he will inform when its available.... its quite costly approx rs 2800... will try and see if snapbridge app solves my problem as suggested by Hensil in the mean while

You can use OTG cable and connect your phone directly to camera. Then you can use app like DSLR Dashboard. May be you need to try a couple of them to find which one works for you.

OTG is best, as you can download your pictures to phone instantly.
