Non Native Lenses on Sony A7 cameras

Hi All,

I've been researching the net for quite sometime on this - using non-native lenses on Sony A7 series of cameras with an adapter. I would like to understand from the professionals here on their experience on similar lines...

Also, I'm particularly curious about using Zeiss ZM 25mm f/2.8 lens on Sony A7 R2. Any practical inputs on this combo with adapter to be used will be highly helpful for me.

Thanks for this, I've gone through this and also the Philipreeve on wideangle lenses guide. I'm more interested in knowing which adapter is correct fit and also if any rangefinder is required for using this lens.
