Finally a dream would come true.

Though i have flown over the NE States when i was in the Air Force,
and also done road trip from Bagdogra to Gangtok, to Lachen, to Nathu La, and along Teesta River,
through Thangu Valley, all the way till the China Boarder, and could view Khangchengyao Peak.

Also done road from Guwahati to Tawang and right up to China boarder, and done Guwahati to Shilling,

And also done stretch to the Myanmar Boarder,

BUT this road trip will be different, Going to some awesome locations, and ending in Nagaland for two day of Hornbill Festival.

So we fly Delhi to Dibrugarh, and then the road trip starts,
and we fly back from Dimapur to Delhi.

Now the problem is the air travel part, when baggage is a restriction.
So have to carefully select what goes and what does not go.
one thing i know, no point taking soap along,

Well, preparation has started, but before that let me give you the route.

Preparation is going to be touch,
Check in baggage, 15kg,
Cabin baggage 10 kg,
I hope this has not been reduced

So Part 1 of preparation.

Apart from these memory card,
I already have a 64gb in my 5D Mk3
16gb in 7D
32gb in GH4
and the HDD drive is 2TB and takes the memory card direct or through a card reader,
so not need to carry a laptop.

Hi,
I believe the cabin baggage weight restriction is 7kg. That's what I had faced last time I went with Indigo.
Please cross check that once with the airline.

ah ok,
thanks,
will keep to 7 kg.
the damn bag itself weighs 4 kg that have rollers.
so will have to look for a bag with about 500grams, and put it on my shoulder
