Not expert, i know most of the places around chandni chowk because i go there every day.

Quality of Ashok chat has gone down drastically not worth it. Even dahi bhallas of natraj is not very good instead try bhallas @ haldirams.

For bhalla chaat, another good shop is in Kinari Bazaar. A small platform on street opposite the clock repair shop.
