Can anyone confirm if i can get the ILP for Arunachal pradesh at guwahati airport on arrival after producing the relevant documents?

If yes, then i assume i dont have to apply for it in advance by post saving me the hassle.

what is ideally suggested?

I confirm you you can get ILP in Guwahati airport ...
But on Public holidays and Sundays those people would be missing so keep this in mind...

I would strongly suggest get it before hand

thanks a lot......i will be reaching on a friday(morning) ......but like you said better to not take any chances as i would love to push on to Arunachal quickly rather than be held up in the city.

I intend to travel for more than 15 days . So do i need to go to specific cities to get an extension on the ILP if required?....

Which part of AP you are visiting?
You can extend your ILP in any DC office.. usually DC office presents in all district headquarters.. and its very easy task...

i dont have a set list of places but would definitely be visiting tawang, zemithang, mechuka and few other places depending on my inclination.

Tawang and mechuka circuit will take 2 weeks...
The route should be Guwahati > Tezpur > Bhalukpong > Bomdila > Dirang > Tawang > Zemithang > Tawang > Dirang > Ziro > Daporijo > Along > Mechuka

You need 2 ILPs
One for Tawang circuit and another for remaining

Yes

Tawang for 7 days and remaining for 15 days..

so from what i have understood .....I need a separate ILP for the tawang circuit..... And another ILP for the rest of arunachal ......or is the rest of arunachal also divided into different circuits for the purpose of issuing ILP?

I intend to travel all the way to tuting or even further if i am in the mood for it....
