25K km without a problem, you are one lucky customer :)

I checked out the AWD W8, on display ouside our office building, and I was shocked to hear the promise of 2 week delivery (for AWD W8 , and 100% finances :)

Just completed Noida-Srinagar-Leh-Tyakshi-Pangyong-Chushul-Henle-Tsomorori-Tsokar-Peng-Manali-Noida in 12 days......XUV behaved beautifully..... no hitch except a puncture in left rear tyre.....gave overall fuel efficiency of over 12 km/l......love the vehicle

Hi, Great narrative pal; Glad that you focused on useful aspects (unlike marketing men in pseudonym bragging about bodyline graphics and 0-80 acceleration in 6 sec etc). Thanks. i have also heard some users of XUV500 complain about rigid suspension, giving them body/back pain in long drives. i would appreciate if you share your take on this, since I would assume you must have clocked more than 999 km in one go - quite a few times. You mentioned lateral body roll, do you mean softy struts or highly located 'centre of mass' leading to a 'being tossed about' kind of feeling ? Appreciate reading thru your post. I am sure the looks of XUV500 (both from a driver perspective as well as onlooker's) more than compensates any slight misgivings it may have. Thanks a lot once again.

Thanks buddy....i am happy that you have liked the article.....till date I have clocked 33500 kms at all......just completed a thorough tour of Ladakh......I was a little apprehensive about the performance in such a isolated place especially when i could not get it repaired in not so small places like Ludhiana, jalandhar and Leh for a small problem of a noise during braking.......but I am happy that I had completed the journey without any problem........I have heard about the problem XUV iis giving to some of the persons.....probably I am a lucky buyer...About your specific queries regarding back/body pain.....I want to be specific in saying that XUV is a large car.....an average sized person can not see the bonnet during driving and if they increase the height of the driving seat then the distance between seat and clutch paddle is also become more and they have to put more pressure with a straighter leg and so this can give pain in leg during long drive.....secondly the body roll is due the high centre of gravity......

After clocking exactly 33333km on odometer the XUV gave its first electronic glitch. .....it was giving the alert that right back Tyre is having low air pressure. ....While the puncture was in right front tyre....

Keep us updated over this negligible issue. :)
