Patang (Now Neelkanth - Patang) - Ahmedabad

Few members might be aware of it but I am sure most of the members might not have even heard of it. Reason - It was shut for many years but recently Neelkanth Hotels bought it from the original owners and then restructured it for its popular use.

Location : Ellisbridge, Ashram Road, Ahmedabad.

This restaurant is situated at height of about 6-7 storey high building... Pic will be enough for anyone... From inner side this restaurant rotates... Yes rotates...

At night

Currently it serves only Vegetarian Punjabi Food. Rates as one can expect are quite high but worth the taste and experience it offers.

There is entry fees of Rs. 250/- for lunch and Rs. 350/- for dinner. These fees can be utilised for food inside. A la carte and Buffet both are offered.

Food is really exotic. I have visited there only once but had opted for buffet dinner and the huge menu it had was realling amazing. My personal favourites are Veg. Jaipuri and cheese kulchas but there is different menu everyday hence if you choose buffet chances are you might not find your favourite the next time. But who cares when you can have more than 30 options.

(Mods please move this thread to Restaurants & Dhabas section... Sorry for the trouble)

Fantastic, are there any revolving restaurants in Delhi?
Yes - the Asiad Tower Restaurant. I did visit it in the days that it did revolve. I think it's been 'grounded' now for reasons not quite known.
Mind you, these revolving ones do something like one revolution per hour, or less.

bosses of the world,

parikrama restaurant in CP? near BCL, premnath motors just next off barakhamba road!!!

I remember going there as far back as a kid in 1990. Back then, even tea was 25 bucks, so dad and I had toast and tea, and came back :)

Hmm... Sunday morning breakfast and ride money spent on a cup of tea, worth it if they allow photography :D
YS, by all rights, if you take photos and put them up on the forum, they ought to be paying you for it with a nice breakfast on the house! In fact, show the proprietor this thread and let him guess how much business he stands to gain! :D

Anup Saab is right... But I think we should wait for till we become community of strong 1000 members or so... Then we can start charging for commercial posts on the community's site and the fund can be used for community's future plans what say ???
