Short trip to Patnitop and Sanasar

@prateek2210 @Sam231276 and I made a small trip to Patnitop and Sanasar over the weekend. Part and Sam came from Delhi and had more interesting ride than mine as I rode only around 250kms, while they 1500kms pus kms with around 20hrs of continuous riding. o_O

We stayed at Hotel Trinetar Resorts in Patnitop. While the hotel location is nice, rooms are okayish and food is damn expensive.

Weather in Patnitop was awesome. Pleasant during the day and cold with rain from the evening. We visited Sanasar which is around 20kms from Patnitop. It also has a small lake. The route is much more scenic.

Pics of the ride to Sanasar.

Further, the whole area was covered in clouds near Natha Top which is I think the highest point on this route

There are many activities which people can enjoy.
Horse riding, Ball rolling downhill, going over the lake on a rope and I believe, paragliding is also available in certain months.

It was a pleasure to host you both, albeit only for a few hours :)

Your rear isn't happy with you

Lovely pics, guys!

Spent two months living in a house near Patnitop (short of Batote) when I was a kid and rolled down those grassy banks at Sanasar many times during picnics. Thanks for rekindling memories!

Yes, Patnitop - Botote area is beautiful. Before the new tunnel opened, we used to halt at Batote for having lunch while travelling to Kashmir.
As for Sanasar, it was my first time here and I was really amazed to see how beautiful the place is. Pity that the govt doesn't do more to promote it and make a better road.

Beautiful riding n shooting guys
Thank you :)
