Hi,
Well when it comes to Sagara first it comes to our mind is Jog Falls followed by visit to Sigundheswari Temple crossing the backwaters of Sharavathi reservoirs.
This thread I created to write about 3 -4 places around Sagara when someone has time at their disposal can schedule to visit these places.
1. Ikkeri Aghoreshwara Temple
This was constructed around 15th Century AD, the key attraction is single granite black Nandi.

The carving/ symmetry is so precious. We had a legacy to be proud of and we need to be grateful to our previous generation for constructing and preserving this for us to experience.
2. Keladi
There are 3 temples Devi, Shiva and Veerabhadra

3. Varadhalli Sridhar Swamy Matha:
There are lots of followers from Maharashtra visiting this Matha / Mutt.
There is a point where continuously water stream comes out the saying goes that Swamiji Holy feet touch water spring has started and continues to follow.
