Hello everyone,
Its been quite a while that i have been thinking about this and now that i can take my time off from work, i am planning a trip across India covering all the states and union territories by car with my wife.
I know that covering each and every state/union territory is a huge task, but i have time by my side, a complete year to see all of India.
I have started working on an itenerary as well which i may be able to share in some time from now, but my biggest concern is to keep my total budget under control.
I am planning to start my trip from november-2018 from south rajasthan, going through gujarat, maharashtra and the whole peninsular india, reaching the eastern part, covering the seven sisters, north india, central india and finally coming back to my home town of udaipur, rajasthan.
Need a lot of advise on:
1. Route for the whole trip
2. Keeping my budget down
Looking forward for your inputs and travel stories of similar kind from you guys.
Regards,
Deepak

Thank you sir for posting a reply to this thread... I need all the help i can get here.
And hats off to you for sharing your travel diaries. Its actually a kind of encyclopedia on travelling in gujarat for people like us.
I must share with you that after going your whole log, i have added 5-6 destinations to my gujarat itenerary and have learned a whole lot of new things to keep in mind while going on a long trip.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your help.
I am going to read your other travelogues as well in order to learn more about other states as well.
