Hi all. It's been a long time since I travelled and am longing for a break. Stumbled upon Pangot as a remote place close to Delhi and I loved the pics and idea of being with nature. Need inputs on

1. How is the place for a short break of 2 night stay? especially in Oct-nov
2. Any suggestions of places to stay.... Saw a place called The cocoon and liked it. Anyone stayed there or any other places? I am travelling with wife and 2 adolescent kids
3. Suggestions on things to do there... Like any short easy treks, or hikes etc
4. Which is better, Pangot or Sigri for stay and is going to Sigri worthwhile?
5. Alternative places where I can go for 2 nights within 7-7.5 hr drive from Delhi.... Have stayed at Dhikuli earlier so any other suggestions are welcome for Corbett though it is not open for safari currently I believe
6. Best route to take?
Thanks for helping me out in advance

Seems to be good place for Bird watchers.
Oct-Nov will be be OK.
Having Rest at leisurely places is good.
Seen many commercial Tour Plans for the place.

No Idea.
But there are always trails in natural habitat of birds where people go for photography with local guides.

Looks like this region is out of bounds following last week's cloudburst....
Thinking of Chindi as an alternative destination. Any inputs on the route if it is ok from Delhi for first or second week November
