It was time to celebrate and we had visited Lonavala "n" number of times in monsoon. I had been to kolad for river rafting years back but, not had a night stay. So the plan for weekend was Sat (29th Sept) early morning departure from Mumbai reach Kolad by 8.30. River rafting and then party till Sunday noon.
Kolad is around 120 kms from Mumbai and 3 hrs drive. The rafting point is 20 kms aways from Kolad.
Rafting charges - 1200 per person on weekends and 750 per person on weekdays.
We had booked our stay in Pooja Farms - Kolad.
We were group of 10 people and bookings were done.
Tent stay with Lunch - Dinner and 2 breakfast for 1100 per person.
Till friday night lots of cancellations and unfortunate things happened leading to cancellation, but finally 7 of us went der.

Nice loaction.
Good food.
Reasonably priced. In fact its cheap.
Large open space with lawns and flowers.
Well maintained.
You have to get your own quota of liquor, they can arrange also.
Bonfire by night.
Lots of space for outdoor and indoor games
Things you wont like - Lunch and dinner in dining area, but we did request them and had separate buffet outside our tent.
Timings for Lunch, Dinner and breakfast - Nobody in our group was ready to have dinner by 10pm, it was chakna time for them. Kitchen open till 10.30 pm max so all chakna to be ordered before that.
Timing is one of the things dat really irritated us.
The best part, you are cut off from rest of world as mobile connectivity is an issue.
