Colonel’s Dacha at Village Suma Roopa in Kasol. My haven for the couple of nights I spent in Kasol during my recent trip, away from the hustle and bustle of the main town of Kasol and yet close enough for a quick commute to Kasol for breakfast and dinner.

Rahul’s Safari Storme at Colonel’s Dacha in Kasol. The full moon and the illumination of the LED torch added to the dynamism of this photograph along with the stars in the sky. It would be difficult to take this photograph, had the electricity not gone for a short duration. Yet, I had mixed feelings about this photograph, since there are a lot of flares and aberration in the image, I guess courtesy of a dirty lens or dirty sensor or both. But, the photograph was surreal enough to be share and not set aside.
