Promenading in the Mountains and Glens of Himachal – Sach Pass, Kugti, Barot

Day 6 : October 8,2019 – Baijnath Temple

We took an early morning walk in the same village, with the hope to see the Dhauladhar range. But the view was obstructed by trees, and we came back.

We started at 8-45 AM, pretty late by our standard.

The tea gardens, with the backdrop of the Dhauladar, looked beautiful.

Who doesn't want to own one of those houses!

Our first stop of the day was at Baijnath temple.

The Idol(s)

There are beautiful stone carvings on the temple wall.

The views outside were no less enchanting.

Day 6 continued – Barot

On the way to Barot

We reached Barot, and had to inquire a bit to find out the hotel that we had booked – Taj River View – which happened to be at Multhan.

We went out for an afternoon stroll along the river Uhl. The spot that attracted us the most was the makeshift bridge to cross to the other bank – which is used by bipeds as well as quadrupeds.

We came back to our room, which offered good views of daily life at Multhan.

We tried some night shots also.
