Just another sick
bike from bajaj!
You rode it? I hope you have mate before you expect sane people to take that seriously. Though, I would always laugh off the 3 spark plug joke but calling off the entire bike as cowdung before it has even come to the roads is a bit premature, no?

I did ride it, a not-so-decent test ride to be honest. felt the acceleration to be meager, could have improved better. I didn't rev it above 4000 rpm, still have to try it out "maniac - style"

no, but the thing is... it can be better, so imuluvshaz could be right if he rode it. i'll get that info with a more longer ride.. I'm expecting delivery in 10 days, so my report would be one amongst the first few.
But if he didn't (he hasn't yet come out said it), then Darkside is right.

If this is sick bike, what according you is a healthy bike?

hello guys, I booked it yesterday (Rs. 10,000), choose red colour.
I've been waiting for this since March and postponed the 'purchase in general' for 3 months.
wanted a 200+ cc bike and other options were Karizma ZMR and the other newly Duke 200.
choose 200NS for the basic reason of lower cost of spares in future...

expected delivery is 10 days, so that comes around 19th June. will post a detailed review soon after.

Congrats Makrand. But I've got a question, if you felt the acceleration to be meager and something which you didn't like, what made you book this motorcycle? Keeping in mind the specs and the performance of its donor motorcycle, its supposed to be anything but slow.

Thanks.

But like I said, in considering it with my other two options, ZMR and Duke, the acceleration didn't exactly blow me off.
Apart from that, the naked body, its overall personality, the Bajaj tag for quality and spares.. all made sense.

what I told was very specific, didn't rev it past 4000. I don't do that on somebody else's bike, just my nature.
So when I get it delivered, I can take it to 8000 without holding back. And then my friend would I have properly ridden.

4K on a 200cc is not the engine speed at which you would be blown off anyway. I have ridden KTM Duke200 for a considerable distance, both on and off the road and its just fantastic. P200 NS is just a li'l melowed down version of the same machine. Its a rev happy engine and loves to be fed with revs. I am sure that you won't be disappointed with it. It'd be better than Zma any day and at the same time its a much better VFM and a better all rounder than KTM Duke 200.

Rode KTM and 200NS both for around 20Kms.IMO KTM wins over 200NS in 0-100 acceleration from standstill also in mid range pulling from 60-100 in 4th and 5th gear because KTM is much lighter than 200NS but I was feeling more confident on NS over 120Km/hr due to its stability,KTM was little shakey above 120 Km/hr.Also NS felt more comfortable than KTM.
IMO 200NS is better option in terms of Value for money and after sales service but one thing doubt me for future issues in NS-"Triple spark plug".
