Pune to Gulmarg & Back 7 to 21 Dec 2021

back in Gulmarg,
and gradually in about 20 min of reaching,
the snow fall started to really come down nice and good.
It could not have been a better trip for all.

Lunch, looks like I was the only one wanting lunch.
others wanted a ride.
And so they all went for a ride.

In Gulmarg,
that brown hill around the Temple,
started to become white.

the parking are near Dhabas,
if there was any brown earlier,
now it is all white.

Snowfall stopped,
and it was as beautiful as can be.

In such conditions it is important no matter what your experience,
your drive slowly,

We stayed all 4 nights at The Royal Castle,
and when you come out of the hotel gate,
and take the road straight ahead,
you are greeted with this view.

The day we decided to head to Zoji La and back.
So as we drove out of the hotel,
what an amazing clear view of Gulmarg.

On the highway towards Sonamarg.

 

[rameshtahlan]

Just a few km from Sonamarg,
where the other end of tunnel is being made,
so that Sonamarg becomes accessible in winters.
