You can't hold two licenses at the same time, so you will likely have to apply once the current one expires.

Hello All,

Hi Hemant

Below is the procedure:

1) If your licence has an electronic record then, you will need to get an NOC from the RTO in Delhi. This should be done in the prescribed format from the Ghaziabad RTO.
2) Take the NOC from Delhi RTO and then apply for renewal in the Sarathi application. There is an online form and fee payment which you should do.
3) Take the required papers, fee receipt and NOC to the Ghaziabad RTO and submit the papers.

However, this procedure will involve multiple trips to both the RTOs and you'll need to spend time there. No need to get any agent!

A lesser and easier way would be apply for a fresh one at the Ghaziabad RTO. Again use the Sarathi app and submit the form and fee. Take the papers and fee receipt to RTO for submission. Again, no need to for any agent. This is a very straight forward procedure and quite easy too. In this case you won't need to go to RTO, only a couple of times. Once for learner's and next for exam and permanent licence.

-- Thanks Anuj Ji for details. So let me apply for fresh one later. That will be less hassle.
