    @Alpha returned yesterday.
    His road conditions report :

Reached Delhi last night from Badrinath.

Road conditions around Roorkee and thereafter for few kms is bad.

Chilla road and towards Garudchatti is fine barring few spots.

Rishikesh till Devprayag is painful due to ongoing construction work.

Davprayag to Srinagar little better but still some stretched bad.

    Srinagar to Rudraprayag is ok.

    Rudraprayag to Karnprayag is ok.

    Karnprayag to Chamoli is bad.

    Chamoli to Joshimath is ok.

    Joshimath to Pipalkoti is ok.

Pipalkoti to Hanumanchatti is ok with two-three bad stretch.

    Hanumanchatti to Badrinath is excellant.

How are the road conditions from Moradabad bypass to Ramnagar?
Also, is it safe to use the stretch around 3-4 am?

    Thanks
    VJ

    Roads are not good.

    Avoid this time of night.

    Or

    Another member answered:

From Muradabad bypass, go via Tanda-bazpur-kaladhungi route. Good roads.

Also, no issue regarding safety. I do it on a motorcycle and by the time we reach moradabad bypass, dawn starts, so by 4-4:30 or 5 am.

It has good roads. I always start my rides in night, around 11 or 12 and we only use this route to reach kumaon.

On Our first trip to munsyari, we were only 3 people and did not face any safety challenge.

I can understand your concern of avoiding rush at NH24.
If you start early from Delhi NCR you can reach Moradabad bypass around sun rise . There will be not much issue as NH24 has running traffic at night also.

Some construction is going on at NH24 that can be done easy passing in early morning.

This advice is for a family.
If you are with friends decide wisely.

Thanks for the responses. I am aware about NH24 till Moradabad bypass and onward to Kathgodam. I travel at night and use this route when I go to Kumaon.
But, this time I am going to Jim corbett.
I haven't used the Moradabad bypass - kashipur - Jim corbett route in sometime. Can someone please share the status of this section and how safe it is to travel at night. I am traveling with a friend.
