Returned from 5 days trip to Shri Kedarnath dham( 15th Oct afternoon to 20th Oct morning)
*Route* taken was - Gurgaon- Delhi- Muradnagar- Upper Ganga Canal- Khatauli- Bijnor- Najibabad- Kotdwar- Gumkhal- Satpuli- Devprayag- Srinagar- Rudraprayag- Agastyamuni-Phata- Sonprayag
Gurgaon to Kotdwar- Very Good
Kotdwar to Satpuli- Average to Bad
Satpuli to Devprayag- Narrow but good roads
Devprayag to Srinagar - Good roads but broken in patches
Srinagar to Agastyamuni- Good but broken in patches( widening work going on so expect delays)
Agastyamuni to Sonprayag- Worse( No roads, everything a dirt track)
While *return* journey was through New Tehri and roads are superb from Srinagar till Rishikesh.
Rest Rishikesh to Haridwar- Broken roads in patches.
*Total travel time*- Onward journey- 12.5 hrs( with adequate breaks
Return journey - 14.5 hrs with 2 major breaks.
What time did you start from both ends?
For onward journey started at 3 pm from Gurgaon and took a night halt at Gumkhal and next day started from Gumkhal around 9:30 am and reached Sonprayag around 5 pm.
For return leg started at 1 pm from Sonprayag and reached Gurgaon at 4:30 in the morning today.
any Covid Report requiment ?
No report required and you can now enter the Mandir to have a cleared view of the ShivLing
Entry is just for a small part like 10 feet entrance and then exit from the right side of the the temple gate.
Earlier they made a bench platform to have Darshan of inside.
What happened to it ?
They removed it since before October, no one was allowed inside the temple but now, one can enter and have darshan from 10feet inside.
