Road trip :- Delhi to goa

Hello,
Need your concern on this.
Me, my boyfriend with our two friends are planning a road trip to Goa from delhi in car in January. Need to know that will there be any issues in driving from delhi to Goa via road regarding police or any other issues. As it is normal that police will stop a delhi number plate car in other states. Will they ask anything about our relationship or other as police can ask anything or call our homes for confirmation ??

Any other suggestions will be welcomed.
Thanks.

Stick to the main highways, don't park by the side of the road at a deserted place. That is where cops are likely to interrogate you, otherwise, they shouldn't really bother you at normal check posts.

Thanks sir for your suggestion.
Need to know one more thing, that is it safe to drive on night. Other than fog. Is there any issues on the road like dacoits or thefts. While driving on night.

Just carry your respective id's. As long as you guys are major (above 18 year of age), legally no one can bother you. No issues.
Thanks sir,
I know you are correct but police guys don't get these legal things. If we will show them the power of law. Than they act more rude.

Speaking from my experience, never undertake a long road trip, in case of any doubt or hesitation. Delhi to Goa and back will anyhow take 4 long driving days, Goa has lot of car/jeep rental facilities, so plan accordingly.

Thanks, I will consider this

No issue with driving at night, however security issues exist all over the world and are worse at night. Avoid it if possible.
Ya, we will try avoid the night driving.

Thanks for your help.
