Hello Folks,

I am planning this trip in somewhere in summee season, dates are not yet fixed.

Need suggestions for the route. Start & End destinations are as mentioned in heading.

Few routes that came up in web search are listed below, but I am open for suggestions. This will be a family trip, and hence driving will be limited to day time. Plan is to cover this end-to-end in 12-14 days.

Route-1: Pune-Surat-Ahmedabad-Jaipur-Delhi-Mussoorie
Route-2: Pune-Indore-Jaipur-Delhi-Mussoorie
Route-3: Pune-Indore-Gwalior-Delhi-Mussoorie
Route-4: Pune-Manpur-Chittorgarh-Jaipur-Delhi-Mussoorie

During Uttarakhand, plan to visit....
Mussoorie(and surroundings): 3 -days
Rushikesh, Hardwar: 2 days
Corbett: 1-2 days
Nainital (and surroundings): 3-4 days

Excited to get expert suggestions :)

@suyash_tripathi ji can help on MP Part of Route.

Route-1: Pune-Surat-Ahmedabad-Jaipur-Delhi-Mussoorie
Route-2: Pune-Indore-Jaipur-Delhi-Mussoorie
Route-3: Pune-Indore-Gwalior-Delhi-Mussoorie
Route-4: Pune-Manpur-Chittorgarh-Jaipur-Delhi-Mussoorie
Route 2 & 3 seems OK to me.
Wait for opinion of @suyash_tripathi ji

If you come on Jaipur Route, then take Cut near Rewari / Behror towards Panipat.
This Route is best to move towards Indri route after Karnal towards Paonta Sahib & then Mussoorie.
This route has less traffic and good roads but little longer.

If you come via Gawalior /towards Delhi then take EPE to avoid Delhi.
Move on NH 34 (Old NH 58) towards Roorkee - Dehradoon - Mussoorie.

Mussoorie(and surroundings): 3 -days
Rushikesh, Hardwar: 2 days
Corbett: 1-2 days
Nainital (and surroundings): 3-4 days
Stick to One side if possible.
It will be rush time in Nainital or Mussoorie in summers.
Book Hotels earlier.
Prefer booking on Weekdays to avoid more rush.
Move to other destinations in Weekend.
Haridwar will be hot.
Better stay in Rishikesh.
Move for some hours in Haridwar from Rishikesh.

Cover Nainital in week days if possible.

Thank you the detailed insights.

Somehow inclined towards Route-1 and Route-2. Route-1, since it's familier till Ahmedabad. Route-2, since it is less crowded and equally smooth as Route-1. But will finalized later on.

This is first time I am getting this route suggestion, looks worth considering.

This one, I might try in return journey.

Indeed, bookings already done, unfortunately 1 weekend will always overlap hence is unavoidable. Rishikesh, indeed I am planning to stay in Rishikesh and visit Haridwar in later part of the day.

This is old one !
We are suggesting all going on route via Jaipur to NH44 (NH1) towards Himachal Pradesh / Ladakh etc.

Currently Rewari Cut is at Border of Rajasthan & Haryana.
You have to take small roads to reach Jhujhar Road as Farmers Protest is going on at this border also.
You can take Behror - Narnaul - Rewari - Jhujhar Route to avoid any inconvenience with family.

Check here from 2015:

Day 1: Chandigarh - Ambala - Karnal - Panipat - Leave NH1A - Rohtak - Jhajjar - Join NH8 - Neemrana - Behror - Shahpura - Jaipur - Kishangarh

Naya Gaon to Industrial Area Phase I

Check here from 2017:

We carried ahead after the short lunch break keeping Rohtak/Panipat as target for night halt. Intense heat and dehydration was making life difficult for us and we were forced to take water breaks almost every 30 mins (Big time missed having hydration pack along with us). Crossed Behror-Neemrana stretch and we reached a junction from where we had to take a left which would take us to Rohtak via Rewari-Jhajjar.

Time was around 5:30 pm and we were drenched with sweat and dehydration was killing us. We decided to take a short nap at the toll plaza to ride after sunset to beat the daytime heat which turned out to be a pretty good decision. Carried ahead after loads of water and a cup of tea.

Route-3: Pune-Indore-Gwalior-Delhi-Mussoorie
Hello. Why goto Jaipur-Delhi? Stick to this route (route-3) you can stay enroute at indor and agra.

Pune-indore-gwalior-agra-YEW-G.Noida-EPE-Nh58-Canal road-Deoband eway-Dehradun-Mussorrie.

Road is in tip top condition except Shivpuri. It doesn't make sense at all to divert towards ratlam-jaipur unless you want to explore that region.

Safety & Security is the only concern. The route via Gujarat & Rajasthan has ample options for hotel stays, in case there is car breakdown, or any other unforeseen event, every 50-100 KMs there are decent options for stay. (Travel will be with family, ladies & kids).

By the way, any good options for stay just before Agra?
