Royal Enfield Electra 350 Twinspark - Owner's Review

Still loving my Electra. I use it for Touring only. Did 2 Ladakh trips, one Punjab - Goa - Punjab trip, one Mumbai - Goa trip and several trips of 200+ kms.

Some of the videos of my solo trips on Bullet Electra :
1) Riding on Cliffhanger Road (Killar - Kishtwar road)
2) Crossing Sach Pass in June 2017 (full video) :
3) Riding on deadly Agham - Shyok road in July 2016 :
4) Ladakh Trip 2017 :

Planning to attempt Umling La in July 2018 on the same Bullet.

That's some good numbers. Hope you didnt face much issues / breakdown in these rides.
Keep the spirit high.

Thank you cruise_control!! :)

You already gave the answer that which one is better between standard and electra. Initially I was confused between classic, electra and classic 500 chrome. I wanted to go for something which was shiny (full of chrome), so zeroed on electra and classic 500 chrome. The waiting period of classic was much more than electra so booked electra. However, the delivery wasn't as easy as I had thought. After much drama,I finally got Electra.

I covered 500 kms within 5 days of delivery :), i'm super satisfied with the performance. Even before first servicing i'm getting mileage of 39 km/ltr. Acceleration is superb but sadly I couldn't ride it more than 60 kmph :(... The disc brake is amazing, but not so happy with the rear drum brake. If you are planning on standard 350 then I would ask u to reconsider for electra.

Except for a minor oil leakage, i'm pretty satisfied with my bull. Tomorrow i'm taking it for first free service, which I intend to get it done right in front my eyes, i'm hoping that the oil leak would be fixed. Also I'll get the headlight changed to 65/55w. I'll send another detailed review after completing 1k kms.
Hi just have a query. Should I change electra's seat to twin city like classic 350 or keep it like that without changing. I like classic 350 look. I had almost decided to go for classic 350 but my friends told me to consider electra 350. Thank you

Thanks Bulletron_Max!! :)
Before I start passing the information, let me congratulate you on your choice, and of course, purchase!

Rs.1600 for Diamond crash guard!!!!!!    ..... it's a bloody loot!!
I bought the crash guard for my Electra in Rs.650/- and Diamond crash guard can be bought for Rs.750/ or less (not more than that) in open market. (My apologies, I had asked the price for Diamond crash guard but unable to recall it anymore, I think it was Rs.700/- or Rs.750/-)

Ok, let me suggest you one thing, please do not buy anything from the dealer, not even the buzzer!

There are many places in J. C. Road (I'm pretty sure, being a Banglorean, you would know J. C. Road) from where you can buy Bullet spares. But there are two very popular dealers who give Bullet spares at very genuine rate, one of them being Sandhya Auto Spares.
Let me provide you the direction to Sandhya Auto Spares:
1. Once you get into J.C. Road, look for State Bank of India bank (there is only one SBI in J.C. Road). SBI Bank come after the first signal and on the right hand side, while moving towards Town Hall.
2. Adjacent to SBI, there is a thin concrete road. Take that road and 50 mts ahead you'll find two spare shops. The one on the 1st floor is Sandhya Auto Spares and below is another one who's also a dealer in Bullet spare parts. You can buy from either of them since I tried both of them and seemed to be genuine spare dealers.

Remember!!... to negotiate the price with them and to the max ;) If he says 650 then go for 500 :D... I am pretty sure you'll find a good deal.

Cheers!

Apparently the single long seat of electra ot std bullet is more comfortable. Seen few classic owners using it. The dual spring loaded riser seat of classic series is not considered lower back friendly by some owners. So better is to have long rider on the classic first then decide weather it will be comfortable for you or not.

Hi,
I am the one who has moved to electra seat from Classic twin seats setup. Electra seat is more comfortable than that of classic. Also I personally think electra is the best (from RE stable) in all 350s.

Thank you for your feedback. It will help me a lot. So I should go for electra. I don't like to change silencer , I have seen a lot of owners change silencer for sound effects. But I don't want to change company fitted one. Also I have decided black color of electra what you say.thank you.

Good thing stock exhaust is the best one. Stick with stock setup spend the money on riding gears and fuel and enjoy the ride.
Black is the ever green shade and i think it is the sparkling black so it would look cool under the sun, when i had the Electra it use to be sparkling black.
