Hello All,

This is best thread when looking for info on Electra. But looks like no updates since 2019 here :)

@vamsi2390 : How is your bike doing? Looks like you shifted to Car now :)

Its been so long visiting this forum . Good old memories. . Guess all Electra owners who were active in this forum switched to some modern bikes and sold their Electra or scrapped it . My Electra is also taking its last breath. Planning one last trip to Ladakh this June. Going to be 5th Ladakh trip on same Electra

Hello All,

I know this thread is not much active now, but wanted to get some information. I need to change tyres for my Electra and Ceat Grip XL is not available in recommended size for Electra as I checked in Ceat Tyre shops. So any good recommendations from you guys as alternative or if someone is managed to get Ceat Grip XL for Electra?

Try Ralco speed blasters, I have used them in my Classic and they perform really well in terms of grip (wet/dry/offroad). However life is 10-12k km only.
ANother option is MRF Mogrip M, however I dont have any first hand information about it.

Hello Mandar,

Thanks for your reply.

I checked in multiple shops and the only option they are giving is of Ceat Milaze (3.5, 19). No availability from MRF or Ralco. Hence I am considering proceeding with Michelin Sirac Street (3.50, 19, Button pattern for Rear). This one is available in Chinchwad Michelin Shop. As per the online review and a few YT videos, looks to be a decent tyre. Also, I checked this thread and searched backward, there Michelin Sirac Street was in recommended one as well :).

I am personally against Michelin Street. I have used it twice, and its pathitec when it comes to wet grip. Though the tyre life is very long.
Did you looked in the tyre shops in Pune? I dont think there should be any problem is finding MRF or Ceat tyre in Pune.
