Please give your opinion and guidance on the above itinerary. I will be taking bullet on rent from Amritsar.

Plan B
11th Sep - Fly From Ahmedabad to Amritsar (will be reaching next day at 6.25 AM)
12th Sep - Drive towards Sach Pass till Bairagarh as last place where Rest / Guest Houses are available.
13th Sep - Travel via Sach Pass and reach Killar

Rain and Snow can close Sach Pas and you may have to attempt it again next time.
Kishtwar to Killar is having Cliff Hanger Route only of 5 km but it can take 5 hours or more.
Upper construction is going on and this lower route will be closed for few or more hours also.
Add these hours also.

No Way.
Even if you start early.
Sach Pass is not Well Tarred Road of USA.
It is all badly tipped Rocks, slush etc.
Water Crossings will take more time to cross.
Weather is also unpredictable.
Keep eye on that.
Have Plan C also if you can't cross Sach Pass at that time.

Most water crossings have been covered by roads and now pass underneath. We didn't encounter any water crossing which made us uncomfortable. In fact we were disappointed that we hardly saw any water crossings as most was under the road.

Very Good.
But this year Rain is more than usual.
Hope for the best.

It is quite possible. I did bairagarh to sach pass to keylong in 1 day on 20th july. We started at 6am and reached Keylong at 7pm. The road is bad but the distance is doable3.
Kishtwar is opposite side and is on Dangerous Cliffhanger Road.
Both should not be done if you are going to ride in dark at any point of time.
This can be dangerous to move on such road.
Other than this riding in dark and reaching in less populated areas of Kashmir at night is not at all recommended.
Enjoy such areas in daytime only.
Rest decision is of individual.

This is going to be last ride as this road is going to be closed for sure as a new road is in making.
Check next post.
