Woah, am actually in the process of getting a Rockinon 14mm from US. Unfortunately need Canon mount. Are the adapters any good for using Nikon lens on Canon body?

Its a manual focus lens, so dumb adapters work. But I would not recommend buying a Nikon mount. Buy native canon mount. I think canon mount retails for some 24-25000 in the USA. You have a full frame canon body
I shifted to sony about 3 years back. I had a nex 5n. I sold that and got an A7. I was using A7 and D7000 both. I am going to shift fully to Sony E with the A6300.

However, if I like the GX8 very much I will use that as my second cam. Heck, I may even get a 1" sensor compact as the second cam and use A7 for heavy lifting. Interestingly, I will be using canon mount lenses with the A7
With D7000 my bag is too heavy. Problem on travels.
