Hi all. Wanted to exchange my 2012 diesel Chevrolet beat so went to enquire. Seems like I am getting 60000 cash discount, 30000 exchange bonus and 5000 corporate discount with the old grand i10 sportz which has an ex showroom price about 40000 less than new NIOS sportz model. There is no offer on NIOS. What do you guys suggest?

I am using the 2015 Grand I 10 magna variant (petrol) have only done 15500kms, I am fully satisfied with the performance and mileage. Service cost is also reasonable. The choice should only be yours NIOs is no doubt a very attractive package but the cost is increased significantly. On the older sportz they are giving you very good deal. I would have picked it up if i were in you place.
Try to extract more out of the deal like a extended warranty package, free gear lock etc and some more discount.
When i bought mine i spent good enough time with the sales guy in the showroom even after the closer time any got a very good deal.

Currently, old i10 grand giving max benefits of 1.10 lacs but this scheme is only till 30 sep.. check it out
Thanks jammbuster. I went to the showroom and was offered max benefit of 1.05 lakh for the sports model any colour. (cash discount 60k+10k,exchange bonus 30k and corporate 5k). In addition, I was offered 80k for my Chevrolet beat Feb 2012 model done 83000km, LT Diesel model. Don't think I will get a better deal next month around Diwali. What do you guys feel??

Booked today!! Got 70,000 cash discount, 30000 exchange bonus, 5000 corporate discount, 4th year free warranty, mud flaps/carpet/perfume etc kit complimentary (2000).

One clarification needed from you guys. I had 50 % no claim bonus with previous car and want to transfer it to new one. I checked online on policy bazaar and TATA AIG is offering a good value which is much less than that the showroom offered. But they said it is not a preferred insurance company and wanted me to go with their company. I thought that TATA AIG is good as it offers me cashless claim at 47 places in Delhi and even at Hans Hyundai workshop!! My old car was insured with Oriental and my agent told me that it would be easier for him to get insurance transferred to new car with Oriental but getting no claim certificate from them and then getting insurance from TATA would be cumbersome. What I want to know is
1. How is TATA AIG for getting claims.....good or bad
2. How is Oriental insurance for the same
3. Should I get insurance on my own from my agent or from the showroom?

Also the IDV they quoted on which premium is calculated was 5,70,000 which is 5percent less than the actual exshowroom price but I got a discount of more than one lakh and the market value would be accordingly less. They said it is not possible to insure at a lesser IDV for a new car. Is that so? If my agent gets me a policy for say 4,70,000 which is closer to market value, then my premium would be less. Anyone who has knowledge and can guide me....
Thanks to all for their help

As far as i know IDV IS JUST glitch to get more money from customer..

Insurance value of vehicle depends on three things

Total year
Then
Total km
Then
How much that is thuki huyi from all side...

If you ask me take insurance from i10 dealership..

Why ??
Here are the reasons
1. Any issue in insurance its there headache not yours.

2. Claim process is much easier

3. Pluss you will get treatment benefits...
