Dear All

I am planning for a vacation at singapore with family. I have done all the necessary analysis and study about the place, but my question is should I carry a currency card or use my debit.

For my business trips I use both currency card and my debit card and never face any problem. But office is saying i cannot use the currency card for my personal trip.

Should I buy a new Currency Card? or I will be good with my debit card? I have international credit cards too which are all tested in various countries and it is working fine.

My only question is should I buy new currency card?

Any suggestions!!!!!

Irrespective of whether or not you carry a currency card. Make sure to notify your bank that you're traveling to Singapore. At times banks block cards, if transactions occurs in south Asian countries.

* Internation credit cards are accepted everywhere in Singapore. You need to get international roaming activated on your credit card. Check forex rates with your bank. Same with debit cards.
* Forex rate for cash conversion in Singapore in higher. Last Thursday agents at Changi airport was selling SGD at 2.1 SGD for 100 INR . Similar rate is also available with local agents.

If you need any help with planning you can contact me.

Make sure to notify your bank that you're traveling to another country and consult them
Exactly, cause they are very quick to block the card if they find some operations suspicious.
For the cases like that i always keep contacts of netspend customer service https://netspend.pissedcоnsumer.com/customer-service.html in order to be able reaching them fast. So far i had only two situations when i had to do it and hope it doesn't happen again.
