Not that it needs any introduction for regular travellers heading along the NH-17 towards Goa.
Siutated at the bifurcation of MUM-PUNE and MUM-GOA highway just outside panvel.
His VADA PAV, Sabudana Khichdi and POHa are legendary. i have seen this place grow froma roadsde stall to its present status and maintain the quality over the years.
A must pit stop for filling up before a long journey:D

VADA Pav are extraordinary and are pretty hot too! Must visit for those who love spicy food. Sabudana Khichdi is also good but Poha not that great. Best Poha I've found is in Ratlam. Try Poha with Ratlami Sev on Ratlam station (Served hot) and you would forget Poha at Shri Dutt.

Its the must stop for those who travel on NH 17. Although he lost considerable no. Of customers after mumbai pune express way started up

After getting the directions from this forum, last week on our trip to Alibaug, we visited there. Tried everything out there. The Vada Pav was awesome so as Sabudana vada and misal.

We cannot miss that place due to its location and also due to long queue of vehicles parked out there.

I had a meeting in Lonavala followed by lunch. As expected I skipped - infact 4 of us did that. And headed straight to Dutt. Gobbled down Vada Pavs and Kothimbir Vadi and headed straight back to Mumbai
