Sikkim - Itinerary for Nature/Photography

I have the below itinerary in mind.

Day 01 Arrive at Bagdogra Airport & proceed to Gangtok. If time permits you can do local sightseeing’s. Stay in Gangtok.

Day 02 Here one can either undertake an excursion to Baba Mandir, Tshangu High Altitude Lake, Optional - Nathu-la Pass Indo Tibetan Border (Closed on Mon, Tue) local visits to Rumtek Monastery Enchey Monastery, local temples, and viewpoints. Both can take a little more than half a day. Rest of the day one can visit local markets for shopping or just relax. Stay in Gangtok.

Day 03 Proceed to Lachung (8000+ ft asl - 112 kms - 4 hrs). En route visit Seven sister’s water fall, Singhik view point. Stay in Lacuhng.

Day-04 Ex-Lachung excursion to Yumthang Valley Half day excursion to Yumthang Valley and Zeropoint / Katao (on direct payment basis) On the way visit the Hot Spring and Singba Rhododendron Sanctuary. Stay in Lacuhng.

Day 05 Proceed to Lachen. On arrival visit to Monastery. Stay in Lachen.

Day 06 Excursion of Gurudomgmar Lake. Stay in Lachen.

Day 07 Proceed to Gangtok. Evening explore different market area. Stay in Gangtok.

Day 08 Proceed to Pelling. Proceed to Pelling (6000+ ft asl, 112 kms - 4 hrs). Evening visit to Pemayangtse Monastery (One of the oldest and most significant monastery), Rimbi Water fall, Sangachoeling Monastery etc. Stay in Pelling.

Day 09 After breakfast visit to Darap Village (Experiential village), Khecheopalri Lake (29 kms), Further drive to Yuksom (the meeting place of three monks) - the first capital of Sikkim. If time permitting can also visit Kaluk. Stay in Pelling.

Day 10 Proceed to Kalimpong for transit stay only. Stay in Kalimpong.

Day 11 Departure from Bagdogra Airport.
