Singapore Tour In July 2015-suggest Itinerary And Hotels

I will be travelling to Singapore with my wife and 2 children(6 yrs and 11yrs old) in first week of July 2015.I have booked tickets for the same.
Should I proceed to book hotel now or it would be ok to book hotel in May 2015(I will be booking hotel under advance purchase offer to get discounted rates).Is i ok to book under advance payment offer?
Also Please suggest some budget hotels-I need only 1 room with twin beds-pls suggest hotels which allows us to stay in one room without any additional charges(no extra bed required )
Also Plan our itineray for 6 days,i can start sightseeing on Day1 after 3 PM.
And when should i apply for Singapore Visa?

Please advise whether I should book hotel now by paying 100% advance payment or i should i wait and book only 30 days in advance?May be hotel get 100% booked if i book late

Yes it is okay to make an advance payment to hotel. Check user reviews on bookings.com, tripadvisor.com.
check if hotel has facebook page. and reviews on page. make sure that hotel is genuine

There is always a trade off assaciated with early booking. You may not get the required hotel if booked late. So no one can really predict future. But all hotels will not be at booked.

Singapore river cruise (evening)

Garden the bay

FRI Day2 Sentosa Island-Universal Studios and SEA Aquarium
SAT Day 3 Singapore Zoo
Evening Shopping Bugis Street
SUN Day 4 Singapore Flyer+Garden By the Bay
Evening river cruise(optional)
MON Day 5 Sentosa Island- Palawan Beach,Madam Tussauds and Adventure Cove WaterPark
TUE Day 6 Shopping-Orchard Road
pls suggest other places for budget shopping
WED DAY 7 free till 1 pm suggest where we can visit

pls review it and give your suggestions

Day 1
Evening - Merlion Park + Laser Show at 8PM/9PM (From Merlion Park)
Dinner - Walk to BoatQuay area (couple of Indian restaurants)

Day 2
Morning - Sentosa Island-Universal Studios
Evening - SEA Aquarium

Day 3
Morning - Flyer (takes 45mins - 1 hr)
Evening - Garden By the Bay (light show at 7:30PM/8:30PM)
Can add cloud forest if you want on this day

Day 4
Singapore Zoo
Take Zoo map from entry counter. It will be handy in locating venues.
All these shows are very nice.

Animal Friends Show Rainforest Kidzworld Amphitheatre 11.00am 4.00pm
Elephants at Work &

(You will be damn tired after Zoo)
Also Zoo is bit far from city area.
Goto Orchard road in evening for shopping.

Day 5
Sentosa Island- Palawan Beach,Madam Tussauds and Adventure Cove WaterPark
Evening - Songs of the sea (good show)

Day 6 (Shopping)
(Budget) Local Market - cheap clothes - Bugis Street(it is closed AC market)
(Expensive)International brands - Orchard Road
(Budget) Mementos/souvenir + local clothes - China Town market

Is shopping at Mustafa expensive? what do you suggest about Niranjan ,Lucky Plaza and Far East Plaza? I have heard that one can do budget shopping at these places?
