Japan has been high on my check list from last one year. Unique culture, historic architecture, and natural beauty was enticing enough and finally I decided to bite the bait. I had already missed the famous Japanese autumn season so I had opportunity to visit during Cherry Blossom (Sakura) season.

I spent two weeks of April’16 in Japan with no-one to accompany but my camera covering over 2000 miles by road. This was first of many experiences for me. This was my first solo, budgeted, backpacking, photography trip in which i got to stay in backpacker and capsule hostels and met uncountable number of amazing people from every corner of the world with a common ambition, to see the World. Beyond doubt it was a thrilling experience and I got to listen to many heart warming stories.

Brillianto!! Now that's what we call a traveller. I can imagine what a journey it would've been. And you were "allowed" for a solo backpacking trip of two weeks, your wife has my respect :)

Japan is really fascinating and intriguing. A rare historically isolated place from the world.

Thanks Nishchaya. This was one heck of a journey and I totally enjoyed travelling solo. I spent a whole lot of time on road as compared to when travelling with someone else.. Wife has been gracious enough to allow me to travel solo :)

Fantastic start. Subscribed!
Thanks EnglishAugust. Stay tuned more to come!

Nitin bhai, Thats so true. Japan (and perhaps China also?) are isolated places who believe in progress but without damaging their historical architecture and heritages.

Zabardast...... start the show Ankur bhai.. :)
Thanks Rohit. More updates coming soon...

Thanks Dada. Japan is too modern.. They have automated everything. Yet cities like Kyoto are hub of cultural heritage...

Superb! Hope you had a great time!
Thanks Shaq, I had a amazing time in Japan. I initially though 2weeks may be too much for me, but towards the end I realized how wrong I was...
