What a beautiful journey. I was wondering Imust have been difficult with the chilly wind on the hands. Oh, for the lockdown to end...
Naugaon has a few hotels as it is on the Yamunotri route. I saw a few good hotels in Purola as well. Hanol is a small village. I am sure that the stay options there will be very basic ones. Now I need some guidance. Is it easy to find budget stay options at Hanol, Purola and Naugaon? I am asking this to plan for my visit to this route. Thanks..![]()
Thanks. You can do it in car as well. Bike or car, main thing is that the place is beautiful.Enjoyed the travelogue thoroughly. Great writing and beautiful pictures. Alas. I guess my motorcycling days are over-at least for long distances. But i still roam around in my car.
One more added to the bucket list. Thank you for sharing.
Yeah. The problem of chilly winds was mostly in mornings. It was fine in afternoon. I need to invest in a good pair of gloves. What a beautiful journey. I was wondering Imust have been difficult with the chilly wind on the hands. Oh, for the lockdown to end...
Wherever you live in India, I am sure there is something great to see nearby.I read through the entire log in one go! Very nicely covered the route in the log.
I envy those who live around Delhi or Mumbai- Pune for the proximity they have to the hills. While Sahyadri has its charm in monsoon, Himalaya offers beauty all round the year!!
I have done Kadarkantha trek in 2007 and Surpass trek in 2005 with YHAI. I loved Kedarkantha more for the greenery. I wish to do more treks there as I am retiring soon. But this COVID-19 has spoilt all my plans.
Thanx for the beautiful pics and informative description!
Thanks. The drive is mostly good as the roads are tarred.Enjoyed your ride and storytelling! It looks like fun and less trodden road ride. How about a drive along this way?
