Spiti trip-Voter ID a must have?

Hello all,

I am an Indian resident travelling to Kinnaur-Spiti. I do not have a voter ID.

Will PAN card serve as a photo ID at check posts as I have read IDs are checked at some places in Spiti-Kinnaur?

Your driving license would do as well and also just about any government issued ID card.

Absolutly!!! Though I do not recall anyone asking for either of them apart from the hotel guys where I chose to stay.
