nice. Ive been eyeing to change mine, but the pleasure of the 125 is tough to part ways with. That said - the new SR 150 is nice. I tried it the other day, and it's a rocket. My only downers were - the seat isn't as comfortable, engine has a slight vibration (not as smooth as Activa).
By the way - what Tyres are you using on the Activa 125. Do you have any air filter on this like a BMC K&N. I'm currently on stock.but someone I met the other day suggested I try out K&N. or somethig on those lines.
Yes the new aprilia SR 150 is awesome....but parts availability, no service centers and expensive mechanical part makes it a tough choice for people in India. While on the other hand every local and remote mechanic, even in mountains know activa full in and out.
I am using stock MRF tyres that came with my Activa-125, I also haven't changed my filter as it affects mileage...but I will try K&N filter soon.
Ishant Ive been to KAza afew times now. IMHO the plan maybe tough to get through 5 Days. Reckong ahead ..for about 35 km the roads are bad.
That's why I kept a buffer day...I know it will be a hell of a ride, let's see till where we can reach. I fully understand how bad patches can be....but whatever the obstacle I will try my level best to reach Kaza. Thank you for your opinion brother.
Good one, where is your travelogue of Chanshal and Harshil. Chanshal would have been a tough one.
Well Shivanshu this is my first thread on BCMtouring. I will post both of my travelogue when I come back from Kaza, as now my one practical is left and I have to do some preparations for the trip. Earlier I though to write a travelogue but I was too lazy to start it, but I promise you i will write it all of my travelogue when I come back......
On the chanshal part.....yes that was the hardest trip of mine up till now....First it was my first solo ride and second I mean the roads after chirgaon when I took a right turn for the bridge (I assume you have been there) the roads are just FUCKED UP!!
