Hi ,
We stayed at Kondailip, its a beautiful heritage property in between back waters near alleppy.
Kovalam is almost half hour drive from this place,also there is a small beach nearby to the property for which they provide a ferry service at 4pm. There you can stay for a an hour or 2 and enjoy sunset. rooms are quite large and all made with the local wood. Service was prompt. My family is vegetarian they took a good care of us food wise. we also enjoyed Kerala massage in the resort itself, which charged us around 1500, I guess.
As I said , this resort is surrounded by backwaters. so they allow you to do boating in these. Even to reach the resort ,you have to take a boat.
I will never forget the wonderful time we spent over there with my family.
