thanks Sachin :)
which will be nearer to red fort- chawri bazar or chandni chowk station?
how far is purana quila from pragati maidan metro?
Chawri bazar is pretty big in its own might. Visit it as a brief stopover.

Chandni Chowk Metro Station is nearer to Red Fort, about 1 KM only.
Purana Qila is also about 1.5KMs from Pragati Maidan Metro Station. And Zoo is just adjacent to Qila.

Anunoy, Chatarpur mandir is a group of large no. Of temples where you can easily consume whole day.
Beautiful temples would give you large photography options.

Temples are beautifully carved and are spread over half a km range on both sides of the road. I have myself done photography many times there.
In some halls, photography isn't allowed, mostly it is allowed.

oh that will be a good option then... I'm also looking forward to visit 108 feet hanumanji's statue at karolbagh

U've had so many suggestions already. But if you in here for food, do not miss PAHARGANJ. Get down at Ramakrishna Metro Station. Walk into paharganj.
There are several joints there. You can try Malhotra's cafe, Sitaram's chhole bhature, sam's cafe, My Bar, Shin Tur (korean).

the actual story turned out to be little different than what I had anticipated  ... my train to NDLS was delayed by 3.5 hours  ... so I barely had 2-3 hours time at my hand to execute my fantasies... covered only two spots... will upload the photos very soon :)
