After a lazy drive of 30 kms we reached Gnathang. I dared to use the cold water to wash my cars and I was shivering with cold. Seeing this two boys came up to me to accompany. The cold water was quite warm for them and I was astonished to see that they did not feel the numbness because of the chilling water.

You can definitely make out that the sunrise from Gnathang sunrise point will be beyond description but as I knew that I can never make it (I love my early morning sleep), it was a better idea to enjoy the sunset. I walked to a distance away from the locality to a serene place to feel nothing in between the sunset and me.

Upcoming next is an unfolded story about the owner of the homestay and his relation with the old silk route.

The permission can be done from either Rangoli police station or from SDPO. Normally in working day SDPO provides the permit. In my last visit the SDPO was out of office so police gave me the same. In front of Rangoli police station you need to buy a photocopy of application form from a photo copy shop. Then submit the form and one photocopy of the filled form to the officer (police/sdpo) along with all the vehicle paper copy.
Depending on the crowd it may take 15-45 mins top get the permission. After getting the permit make 4-5 photocopy of the permit as you need to submit a copy of the permit in each check post. Bike permit is easier.. In case of car all the passenger have some blood relation.

You can inbox me before planing if you have any confusion.
