Need few more lifes....lot to accomplish.
Honda city!!!!!

Trust me I m enjoying this baby since 2 years, not a single problem. I did Delhi-Mumbai-alibaug-Delhi 3 times in last 2 years(Around 3-3.5k km each trip), not only that almost all well known hill station/places near to Delhi like Manali, shimla, Nainital, Mussoorie, Agra, Vrindavan/Mathura and Fatehpur-Sikri, Jaipur, Udaipur etc etc

You simply cannot go wrong with this car. Its fun to drive car and great mileage if you forget fun to drive :D

My car gives me 12-14kmpl in city and 15-21kmpl on highway. (petrol car)

Almost Nil maintenance cost apart from service and consumable parts.

I said almost because in 2 years I had to change wipers and nothing else till date.

Apart from this Zest also nice option to try. I liked the car way better than its competitors in its segment. like Desire, xcent etc

I would recommend the Tata Zest! I own a Club Class Manza and it's been a delight. in a little over 20 months I have done nearly 40000 kms and the car is an absolute beauty in terms of reliability, build quality, ride and comfort. The Zest further improves this with features.. VFM and true to Tata's moto More Car Per Car!

Go for Zest Diesel. Petrol I am not impressed.
Even Elite i20 Diesel Sportz [O]is a good option; they have improved in pick-up as well as suspension.

The best seating experience and ride quality will be in Verito - however the Mahindra - Service is too expensive infact costlier to maintain than Nissan Sunny.
Nissan Sunny is also a good car - Diesel the pick-up is just awesome. I am in love with Renault Diesel engines - no matter they are fitted on Mercedes A class car!

You can also think of Renault Scala, if they are offering Diesel at the price of Petrol as they did in Dec 2014.

Hi Friends,

Surely bhai Ritz will be a very good choice as it is very sfe car with a very roomy cabin and good bootspace. Very peppy engin.Puls u have the Abs and airbags options as well and it will be fairly fule efficient. As being a hatchback will be good for city runs aswell. And it aslo feels home at highways.
Saty away from polo petrol.and the auto box of vw is also not very relaiable. Other cars to look for are punto the 90hp one and tata botl or zest revetron.

Ek Rasta hai Zindagi..
If you are considering ritz, you might as well look at swift. Essentially the same car under the hood, but difference is in design Layout (jellybean v tallboy(ish))

However, one big problem with Maruti Cars is...the plastics start to rattle after 3-4 years of use.

Hello, utterly confused. Decided to leave aside economy and buy a proper sedan.now....ciaz orTJet linea? How's ciaz drivability ? Test drive doesn't really expose the car well. I want a car with min gear changes required, very good steering feedbak n confident inspiring and effortless drive.Rresearch shows TJet is like this. But service? How's ciaz in this. ciaz owners pls give u r inputs.

If you need least amount of gear-shifts in City - thumb rule is you need to have a Diesel engine with Fixed Turbo-geometry.
Cars you could look are: Swift Dzire, Swift, Indica-Vista, Bolt, Verito, Pulse, Micra, Sunny, Scala, Duster 85 PS and Terrano 85 PS.
I have driven elite i20 - Diesel it gives good load end torque too.
Linea T-Jet may or may not give, as I have not driven it.

The more you think, more confused you will be!
If you want to keep the car for 7+ years - go with what your heart says. Once you decide - be prepared to experience post sales experience.
Ultimately you own the car with your money and enjoy the drive. Each of us will have different perceptions. Personally I am not inclined for Petrol's.

If you need a good post sales experience, go with Tata's - Maruti is varied.
Nissan is not bad either [as I have own Terrano], till date have pleasant post sales experience.

Coming to Fiat, if you decided to buy Linea T-jet; Then I recommend you do one thing:
  1. Walk to service center [not sales counter].
  2. Meet the service manager - ask him why you should buy Linea T-jet over competition].
  3. Ask him to introduce to the senior technician - who has handled T-jet, ask his opinion too - ultimately he is going to work on your car!
Based on their inputs - close the deal or look elsewhere.
