To Reach Advaita Ashram, Mayawati Uttarkand

Hi,
Need inputs, on how to reach this Ashram, Mayawati from New Delhi?
Google showed we can take train till Haldwani. From Haldwani to Mayawati it is ~ 165-180 km.
From Haldwani are there good regular buses [of Uttarkand Roadways] to Lohaghat or one has to hire Cabs?

If you are ok with the idea of taking a normal UTC bus from Delhi, then there are numerous direct buses to Lohaghat and Champawat from Anand Vihar.

Approx travel time is 16 hours and that would be tedious journey. Had it been 6-8 hours I would have thought of taking bus.
So I decided to take train till Rudrapur City or Haldwani and then look for bus or cab option from there.

There is Janashatabdi Express from Old Delhi to Tanakpur. This is almost a travel of 10-11 hours.
From Tanakpur, one can travel with buses between Tanakpur to Champawat or Lohaghat.
From Lohaghat it is only Cab to reach the Ashram.
Usually from Delhi it is better to go from Delhi to Rudrapur City [preferably by Kathogadem Shatabadi] or Bareilly by train. Then catch a cab from these places to Mayavati / Mayawati Ashram.
The road from Tanakpur to Lohaghat is now new and better to drive.
Earlier the Route was from Haldwani to Lohaghat was via Almora.
