I know,
even in early 1980s the area was called disturbed.
A cousin went there regularly for business as a marketing Executive.
He travelled in those years with public transport only.
He covered main cities only.
He went out for few months from Delhi after rest of a month in Delhi.
Every alternate month was his target to cover NE.
