Trek to Serolsar Lake

Trek to Serolsar Lake, Passes through the dense forest of "Kharshoo" Trees.

Distance :- 5-6 Kms from Jalori Pass
Time :- Approx 2.5 hrs on Foot
Best Time to Visit :- April till November

Directions :- Delhi - Chandigarh- Bilaspur- Sundar Nagar - Mandi- Pandoh- Aut Tunnel - Banjar - Jalori Pass
OR
Shimla- Anni- Jalori Pass
Once you reach Jalori at an elevation of "10,800 ft" Trek Starts from there...

Compulsory halt for 30 minutes due road making in progress as we were on our way to Jalori Pass:cop:

Being weekend and a fair at serolsar lake it was thronged by devotees :prayer:, it was difficult to get the car parking but we made it

Due to steep gradient it’s recommended to drive upto Jalori Pass on first gear

Weather getting better now , but its very difficult to predict the weather when you are on way to serolsar...

Here came the surprise, met Tilak ji on my way, he was coming back from serolsar :) and after this rest of the path was in grip of heavy rain, halted at one of the dhaba before reaching the lake...

Weather became clear when we reached the lake...
In the Pic one of the adorable goddess temple of Himachal known as Budhi Nagin at Serolsar lake...:prayer:
