Hi Peeps. I am writing this forum after almost 5 years. Many things happened, I got married, covid happened and due to strict quarantine rules in Hong Kong, I didnt left the place for 2.5 years. But in 2022, in february to be pricise, I decided enough is enough and I have to go to India and meet my family. So we planned a trip from April to June 2023 to India, to stay with my family and to travel within India atleast.
I had heard about Gurez Valley. A small valley situated between Gilgit baltistan of PoK and Indian Kashmir Valley. It runs along LoC. But unlike Kashmir Valley, this place is unique. It is where Kishenganga or neelam river originated and forms a natural border between India and Pakistan. And routine fire exchange between both countries is something which keeps this area in news but strangely, its not on tourist map yet and you will hardly find many people going there, despite the fact the Kashmir received record breaking tourists in 2022.
So that was it. Gurez was decided to explore the unexlpored and it didnt took much time to convice my travel hungry family to go there. It was a special trip as I was coming to India after 2.5 years and also it was a complete family trip after almost 3 years. Adding some photos for appetite.
