Tso moriri and Kargil accommodation

Dear friends
Please help me out with contact details of affordable stays in TSO moriri (goose homestay) or other stays. Also need suggestions and contact details of stays in Kargil and Drass

Many Hotels are there but don't expect cheaper ones.
Only Tented ones may be cheaper.

Many are there inside Kargil and Drass.
If you can't find any inside move to outer side for cheaper alternatives.
It all depends on when you will reach at these places and in which month ?
If you are late and arrives in dark then options get less.
Many travelers got Guest House/ Home Stays late around 8pm also at outer side.
Try New Accommodation options also.

It all depends on when you will reach at these places and in which month ?

As you reach tso moriri, you will first see tented accommodation which is expensive. Drive further to Korzok village. It has number of home stays which are really cheaper. We stayed at one of the home stay at korzok in June 2012 and paid 500 rupees for 5 people (dinner included). It was basic but alright to spend a night. You will get good views of lake and surroundings from korzok.

The tent near the lake was Rs 2000 for two pax for a day.

Can you please let me know contact details of some homestays. Don't want to risk on spot booking

You are not going in season.
Normally that much rush is not there.
Don't Worry about this.

Got some number don't know if it is right or not .

Network there is not good.
In fact whole Ladakh has problem with Mobile Network as populated places are much far.
