TVS Motors, the country's third largest two-wheeler manufacturer, launched seven products here Thursday in a first-of-its-kind rollout in the Indian automobile industry.

The seven products include a completely new 125 cc motorcycle FLAME, an all new 110 cc StaR City, an Apache variant with fuel injection technology and the electric variant of a Scooty.

The other three products were the petrol, CNG and LPG version of a three-wheeler passenger vehicle that will compete with the Bajaj group, the only player in that segment.

I wonder why the enormous delay in breaking the 200cc "barrier"? With TVS's good rep for bulletproof reliabiilty, any such move will kill Bajaj off for good.

I doubt! Honda didnot kill off Kawasaki, Suzuki or Yamaha, did they? But ofcourse, high time TVS starts playing in 250cc segment(enough of 200,220,223s plz)!

I seriously doubt that, I know a good can turn a companies fortune but at this moment the TVS just doesn't have the financial might to compete with Bajaj and Hero Honda.

AFAIK, Suzuki has broken off with TVS and since then TVS is facing bad patch... other wise we would be seeing good 200 or 250 cc bike from suzuki's stable....

RTR-Fi is great news. But I hope the performance difference will be better than the one between Glamour and Glamour-Fi. Knowing that performance is the best thing about RTR, one can hope that Fi would improve it further.
